My Story

My passion for traveling goes back to the very beginning. I was on a plane even before I could walk. It goes without saying that I do not remember much from that trip but my parents never fail to remind me of my very first encounter with travel. Growing up, we would go on family vacations to all sorts of places and I developed the habit of journaling (thanks dad).

As I got older, I started venturing off on my own adventures. This was when I discovered the joys of backpacking and budget travel. I fell in love with it immediately. There is no better feeling than heading out into the world with nothing but a backpack and the freedom to explore. Life is out there, just waiting to happen so reach out and grab it.

I grew up in Singapore but have recently just moved to Amsterdam. I am 21 years old and am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s in Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam. It is my goal to visit every country in Europe and then the rest of the world. Stay tuned for insane travel adventures and tips to travel on a budget, written by a young person who loves to travel.
